Enji Feature Roundup: We’ve Upgraded Our Marketing Software

When we launched Enji in May of 2023, we knew small business owners needed better marketing software, specifically designed for them. 

With our founder Tayler’s background as a marketing consultant, she saw firsthand the challenges that businesses faced to build their brands and market their businesses. Because they paid her a lot of money to build the strategy for them.

The only problem? More small business owners than she could ever work with 1:1 needed her help! So, she and her husband built the original Enji marketing software to help make small business marketing much more accessible.

And oh boy, we’ve come a long way since then. 

Good Marketing Software Makes it Easier to Market Your Small Business

Launching your business already takes a ton of courage, effort, and time. And a lot of people don’t realize we trade in our day jobs for every other position under the sun—we become the founder and CEO but also customer service, the COO, the bookkeeper, and the director of sales and marketing. That’s a lot of hats on one head!

But we start our businesses because of our unique skill sets and passion for something, and that rarely means we’re jacks of all trades. For many small business owners, it’s the first time we’re learning about and managing marketing, and it’s a lot to take on. Not to mention all the bad advice out there.

That’s why Enji’s core mission was always to make it easier to market your small business. In fact, our first tagline was “marketing made manageable”.

The Core Features of Our Marketing Software

When we first started, our core features were focused on marketing strategy—the foundation of great marketing. We knew that business owners needed help taking that first step to even figure out what to do to market their business. 

But, our first iteration of the Marketing Strategy Generator was a little overwhelming. Even though it gave specific marketing tasks relevant to your business, it scheduled everything within the first 30 days because Tayler wanted to make sure folks saw all the ideas. We assumed our users would reschedule tasks on the timeline that worked best for them, but we kinda strayed from our core mission by doing that. And making marketing as easy as possible means fewer things on your to-do list, not more.

While it was a great first start (every new piece of software has to start with version 1), we’ve made some really great improvements since we launched. Back then, you had to manually enter your KPIs, manage your campaigns from scratch, and you didn’t have a good way to automatically develop your brand voice.

But today? We’re celebrating alllll the new features we’ve launched to truly become an all-in-one marketing software (that makes the lives of small business owners a lot easier).

1. Upgraded Marketing Strategy Generator

While this was an OG feature, we’ve made the Marketing Strategy Generator more focused on what small business owners need: time! Now, your recommended marketing tasks get organized on your calendar based on how much time you’ve estimated to work on marketing each week and which days you’ve selected. You get an actionable routine that’s more manageable and less overwhelming. Which means you’ll actually do it.Did you know? Our marketing strategy generator isn’t a white-label ChatGPT tool (nope!). Instead, we build our AI and gave Tayler a way to put her brain in there, so the marketing strategy you get is pretty much what she’d give you if you hired her to create it from scratch.

2. The Today Tab

Since marketing involves so many different moving pieces, we created the Today tab to help you stay focused day by day. Instead of a dashboard that didn’t really add value, the Today tab is the one place you need to check to know what to focus on right then. Plus, you get emails on the days you have tasks to take care of (that you can opt-out of if the extra accountability isn’t your jam).

3. Brand Voice Generator

Sometimes you know what you want to say but not how you want it to sound. And because we know that lots of small businesses are using AI in 2025, our AI Copywriter & Brand Voice scrapes your website for copy samples and creates a brand voice for you so you know how all of your content should sound for consistency. This is great if you ever have someone else writing marketing copy on your behalf too!

4. AI Copywriter

Even though our AI Copywriter is built on GPT 4.0, our subscribers tell us they think it’s way better than ChatGPT! Why? Because we built ours to not require you to have a deep skill in prompting and we have our own prompts and inputs behind what you see that are making sure you get a result that really sounds like you.

5. Social Media Scheduling

This was one of the biggest feature requests when we first launched (and truly was key to creating an all-in-one marketing software). Our Social Media Scheduler offers everything you need to manage multiple platforms and profiles, plan, and auto-publish your posts. Now, you can also save hashtags, tag locations on Instagram posts, upload cover photos to Instagram reels, and add account tags to help you get your social media content scheduled (without the constant tab-switching). Plus, it’s integrated with our AI copywriter and idea generator!

6. Calendar Integration

As a small business owner, we know you have a long to-do list. That’s why we created Google Calendar and iCal integrations. With your schedule in Enji, it’s easier to see how your marketing efforts fit into your broader schedule (and you can see your marketing tasks without logging into our software everyday).

7. KPI Integrations

Speaking of integrations…our list has grown. Enji enables a ton of native integrations for the Social Media Scheduler and KPI Dashboard. Now you can connect things like your Facebook, LinkedIn business page, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Analytics 4, and Instagram to have most of your marketing metrics auto-populate in your KPI charts every month. Basically, we know you hate to enter your numbers, but you like to look at them and know what’s happening. So we’ve done just that.

8. Marketing Campaign Templates

Last but not least, we’ve improved our Marketing Campaign Templates to help you whenever you need a boost in your marketing (or just want to set some realistic goals and aren’t sure WTF to do). With our marketing campaign templates, you can choose the template that’s right for you to get a list of recommended tasks scheduled in a way to give you enough time to prep without stress, stay on top of your budget and progress as well as track the campaign’s performance so you know your ROI.

We’ve made a ton of improvements over the last 20 months, but we’re not done at Enji! Like any business, we’re committed to adapting to our audience’s needs–that means providing the solutions you need to make your marketing as easy as possible. We’re currently working on new and upcoming features that you want and need in your toolkit.

Coming soon, you’ll be able to access channel strategies to get a more nuanced direction in your marketing. That means you’ll have a clear roadmap for social media, email, your blog, and more. 

Email Prompts for the AI Copywriter

Sometimes emails are the hardest thing to write, so we’re adding email prompts to the AI copywriter. Get content in your brand voice for your campaigns (like a nurture sequence) or 1:1 emails. 

Repurposing Content

Lastly (at least, on the list ready for the public), we’re making big updates to the scheduler so you can repurpose content to multiple platforms, making implementing your social media strategy faster than ever.
